This policy explains what personal information Marksman Insight ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and your rights over it. We handle personal data in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.
Sign-in codes and admin passwords are stored in hashed (irreversible) form, our site is served over HTTPS, and access to customer records is restricted to authorised staff through a password-protected admin panel. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data.
We keep your account and purchase records for as long as your account is active or as required to meet legal, tax, and firearms record-keeping obligations. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete it.
We share personal data only where necessary: with government agencies (e.g. the PNP-FEO) as required for firearms licensing and registration, and with service providers who help us operate the site (such as our email provider). These parties are only given the information needed to perform their function.
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, and to request the erasure or blocking of your personal data, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
To exercise any of these rights — including requesting that we delete your account and personal data — contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity (via your registered email) before acting on the request.
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
For any privacy question or data request:
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
